OK..so I have like 14 minutes and it won't be June anymore?!?!  So let me get this done!!

 

Been busy...actually spent time in the craft room...doing some crafts.  Taking it easy for my first summer "off"...as July approaches...I realize that school is just a little over a month away...time to go back to work!!! Yikes!!  Heck...time to buy kids school clothes...OMG...I have a middle schooler!!!! OMG!!!  I can't believe it!!!

 

Well....let me just share with you a slide show of my latest project... we installed a pond!!  Of coruse, took two days to get it this far...so enjoy the slide show...more to come as we wrap up the project with fountains, pump and filter system, lighting and more rocks to decorate....

Monday is coming to a close...our baby girl has spent 1 night and a day away from us at camp....our baby boy is embarking on his first night away.  It's quiet here in the house...he dog looks for them...I find myself looking for them to come in any minute.  It was very hot here today...I can't help but hope they are staying hydrated and cool. 

 

Photos here of them prepared for camp.  Our big girl was begging me to pack her up for 2 days!  She was MORE than ready to go...and I hope she enjoys it!  Our boy was a bit too eager to just climb on the bus...he never looked back.  Kinda worries me in a way...but in another way, makes me proud to know he's confident.  He did meet up with a classmate and I was history.  Of course, I don't think he realized the heat was going to be in the 90's today...he did leave with a good supply of water in his camel back..compliments of his dad.

I cannot believe that on Thursday, June 4 (less than 24 hours)....I will be the mom to a 6th grader!!!  YES... my boy is "graduating" from 5th grade tomorrow.  My baby girl will be a 4th grader!! WOW!!

 

The kids are leaving for camps on Sunday and Monday...they'll be gone for a week.  I am hoping to spend more time in my craft room, that is NOW complete....you can see photos on my craft blog.. http://craftycass.wordpress.com.  We spent about a year getting it designed and put together...I'm so proud of it and can't wait to spend a LOT more time in there working on my craft projects instead of designing the room.

 

The kiddos did their sports...Kaitlyn finished soccer in May... Ryan is attending his last game this Saturday.  He's playing the local Cal Ripken Major division as an Astro.  he was excited and did well when he was given a chance.  Being an 11 year old on a team with only about 2 more, he got VERY little playing time.  I'm proud of him because he stuck with it even though it was tough with those big boys.  I hope over the summer he buffs up and can begin to finally push back when he's pushed.

 

Hubby and I have adopted a work out program.  We bought the Wii fit a few weeks ago...it's addictive!!! I work on the yoga, then do the basic step aerobics then I defend my spot on the downhill ski...hubby is tying his BEST to beat me..but I bumped the stakes up last night...I'm around 370 now!!!   We walk each night...fast pace..just over a mile and 1/2.  Every other day, we walk for 5 minute, jog for 1 minute and repeat for about 30 minutes.  It's pretty intense for me...but I have given myself  1 year (March 2009) to shed the weight...according to my Wii fit...my Wii age is 32 and I have lost about 2.2 lbs since we got it.  My ankles are really sore from the balancing on the balance board...makes it a little hard to walk.  I feel my legs reallly tightening up!!!

 

Well...it's almost my Wii fit workout time....Tomorrow is going to be an emotional day for me...my baby boy will graduate fifth grade!!!!!
